Coffee dripper – from idea to mass production

For one of our clients, we created a complete design for a modern coffee dripper. The goal was not only to develop a functional solution but also to design a unique look that would make the product stand out in the coffee market.

We have prepared several versions of the dripper, differing in the arrangement of holes responsible for aerating the coffee, mixing with water, and brewing time. This made it possible to adjust the brewing parameters to the users' preferences.

Step 1:

Concept and variants

Each variant was printed using 3D printing technology and handed over to the client for testing. Based on the feedback from baristas and users, we made further corrections and improvements.

Step 2:

Prototypes and tests

The final project has been adapted to various mass production technologies – plastic injection and pressure die casting of aluminum. As a result, the client has the opportunity to introduce several product variants to the market, available in both premium and more economical versions.

Step 4:

Preparation for production

We also took care of the visual aspect of the project. The client wanted the dripper to be not only functional but also aesthetic and recognizable. Therefore, we developed distinctive lines and details that emphasize the unique character of the product.

Step 3:

External design

A dripper has been created that combines engineering precision, an innovative approach to the coffee brewing process, and exceptional design. It will soon be available in coffee shops as a product ready for everyday use and appreciated by enthusiasts of alternative brewing methods.
